Food lovers, have you ever wondered what was going on in restaurants kitchens? This is now possible! Since 1st July 2015, the French Ministry of Agriculture makes results of official controls on food hygiene in restaurants in Paris and Avignon available to the public.
The Safer Food application gives you this information and even more!
A few clicks, and you can:
- Check out the results of restaurants around you,
- Find a restaurant by name,
- Contact a restaurant,
- Share its page with your friends via Facebook or Twitter,
- Add your favorite restaurant,
- Get there by using Plans, Google Maps, Waze or Transit.
The application also provides information on the latest food safety alerts in France. It allows you to be informed about recalls and/or withdrawals procedures of foodstuffs that present a potential hazard for your health.
By creating a personal account, you can manage your favorite restaurants and get notifications when information on these restaurants has been updated, but also be notified immediately in case of food safety alerts.
